Counselling by Allison McGuinness.
We are delighted to welcome Allison who brings a new dimension in therapy to Zenya. Allison is a highly qualified counsellor offering appointments for individuals and couples in the comfort of quiet rooms upstairs at Zenya.
Counselling can help give you the opportunity to think, and talk in confidence about any part of your life, including relationships, work or family problems, coming to terms with a loss or anxiety or depression. Allison offers a friendly,confidential and professional counselling service for individual clients and couples. She is an approachable and compassionate person who works sensitively and at your pace to help you understand and explore what you are experiencing.

We want to let you all know that our senior stylist and salon manager, Hannah, has left us for the time being as she is off to have her baby. Hannah has been with us since the very beginning of Zenya even before we had a name for our new hair, health and beauty studios. She has seen it change from a private house to a stylish salon, serving the Stanwix community and beyond.
We wish her and Ian safe delivery of their little one and look forward to regular updates of how they are all doing. Best wishes Hannah and Ian from us all.
Hannah will be back with us in about six months time and until then Vicki and Lisa will hold the fort in the hair salon.

We are delighted to welcome our two new beauticians, Sarah Farish and Laura Nichol, to Zenya. Both are senior beauticians with many years beauty experience.
Sarah comes to us after 12 years at Boyd's city centre salon in Carlisle and she also has previous experience at the TAO Centre in Carlisle. She offers an excellent range of treatments and therapies, including Electrolysis, which is a new addition to Zenya and is already proving very popular. You will find Sarah to be a warm, enthusiastic therapist who offers an excellent standard of care.
Laura comes to us after many years experience in her chosen profession. She has worked in well known and prestigious salons including Living Well (now Bannatynes) and North Lakes Spa. She also has worked at carlisle College as a NVQ Beauty trainer and assessor. Laura is a confident, accomplished beautician with a warm , welcoming personality who will always put you at your ease.

Zenya can now offer regular Laser Teeth Whitening Clinics at our studios performed by Sam Crosby from West Lakeland Medical Group. These clinics are extremely popular and offer a quick, instant whitening solution. Please call for dates and prices.

Baby scanning. We would like to welcome Wendy Boag to Zenya who is performing 2D, 3D and 4D baby scanning service at our studios. Wendy is a qualified Radiographer/Sonographer and she still works within the NHS as a Reporting Sonographer and also has extensive experience working in the private sector providing 4D scans. She is also a Lecturer and Tutor for post-graduate students in Ultrasound, lecturing Physics at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Well, we had a ball on Friday the 20th November 2009 and raised in the region of £400 for Children in Need.
